People impacted by sarcoidosis often can relate to feeling unheard and misunderstood by family, friends, and their healthcare providers. Many also can feel isolated due to living with a chronic and rare disease and are left with more questions than answers. The launch of The Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research’s Global Sarcoidosis Clinic Alliance (FSR-GSCA) is an initiative to help overcome what too many in the sarcoidosis community experience.

The FSR-GSCA is a network of hospitals, clinics, providers, patients, and caregivers who are dedicated to ensuring that sarcoidosis patients in every community have access to information, education, clinical trials, and patient support services. The FSR-GSCA provides direct patient support and education programming and helps to raise awareness of sarcoidosis throughout the community. Through this program, FSR also identifies and supports clinicians through networking opportunities/forums that enable learning, sharing and advancements in finding a cure and in continuity of care, and the acceleration of research.

This year, the Team Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai Team is supporting these efforts to help raise $5,000 to support the FSR – GSCA as well as FSR initiatives that accelerate sarcoidosis research efforts and support those impacted by sarcoidosis.

We need you to join us by making a donation and joining our team so we can help support those impacted by sarcoidosis!

Thank you,
